The champion Levski Sofia and the team of Montana recorded convincing victories in matches from the third round of the men's volleyball championship "Super Volley". "The Blues" crushed Dea Sport as guests with 3:0 sets, while Daniel Peev's volleyball players prevailed at home over Dunav (Ruse) with 3:1.
Dea – Levski 0:3 (15:25, 23:25, 11:25)
Nikolay Zhelyazkov's team did not encounter serious resistance in Burgas. The guests from Sofia dominated the first and third sets, winning by a large margin. Only in the second set did the hosts offer more serious resistance, but ultimately, it also went to Levski's account.
The most productive player for the victory was Julian Wasiak with 21 points, and Todor Skrimov added another 11.
The statistics highlight the total superiority of "The Blues" – not only in the set results, but also in game control. Particularly impressive was the third set (25:11), in which Levski showed disciplined blocking and stable defense.
Montana – Dunav (Ruse) 3:1 (25:16, 31:33, 27:25, 25:20)
In "Mladost" Hall, Montana's volleyball players celebrated their second victory of the season. The hosts started stronger and after a convincing first set (25:16) signaled that control would be theirs. The second set, however, was dramatic – Dunav showed character and snatched the set after 33:31. In the third and fourth sets, however, Daniel Peev's team was more stable in the decisive moments and deservedly closed the match.
The top scorer for the hosts was Kristian Walczak with 31 points (1 ace, 4 blocks). Good support was provided by Bruno Rubbo (16 points) and Eider Bangera (11 points).
For the guests, Ognian Hristov stood out with 19 points, Alex Nikolov with 17, and Angel Pavlov with 13.
Montana showed collective maturity and stability in key points. Despite fluctuations in the second set, the hosts demonstrated better serving and effective defense, which allowed them to turn the match in their favor. Walczak was once again the undisputed leader, proving why he is among the strongest foreign attackers in the league.
