The Bulgarian women's under-20 team decisively won 3:0 (22-25, 18-25, 21-25) at the home European Championship, which is taking place in the capital's "Hristo Botev" hall. In a match that lasted 76 minutes, Iva Dudova was again the top scorer - 17 points (1 ace, 2 blocks).

Victoria Koeva added 13 (1 ace, 2 blocks) and center Kaya Nikolova scored 8. For the Netherlands, Wiese Smits was the most productive, scoring 7 (1 ace, 1 block). Nikolova and Koeva finished the match, and after a serve from the middle blocker, number 10 from the Bulgarian team spiked to seal the final result in favor of the hosts.

Our team scored 11 points from blocks and 4 from serves, but made more unforced errors than their opponent. Thus, Bulgaria climbed to fourth place in the group, overtaking the Netherlands team. This is the third victory for our team, which retains theoretical chances for qualifying for the top four. This requires mandatory victories against Turkey and Croatia, who lead the temporary group standings in Sofia. Tonight, the two teams play each other.
The match of our national team was also watched by the new coach of "Levski Sofia" Radoslav Arsov.
