As the SuperLega Credem Banca championship confidently approaches the sixth round of the regular season, the first recipient of the Credem Banca MVP award for the 2025/26 season has been announced.
The October recognition went to Aleksandar Nikolov, outside hitter for Cucine Lube Civitanova and silver medalist from the World Championship in the Philippines this summer.

The Bulgarian star with a brilliant start to the season.

Nikolov earned the award after being named MVP in two matches – during Lube's victories over Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina (Round 1) and Itas Trentino (Round 3).
With his 96 points in the first matches of the season, the Bulgarian outside hitter holds second place among the league's top scorers, trailing only the Belgian talent Ferre Reggers.

Nikolov's words.

"I am happy with how I started this championship, as well as with the impact of my team Cucine Lube Civitanova," shared Nikolov.
"I am proud of the first MVP award of the season – it is the result of a lot of hard work and persistence. I dedicate it to my girlfriend Yulita, but also to my teammates, who always support me. This recognition motivates me even more to give my best. And the thought that on Sunday we will face the leader Rana Verona brings me an additional boost."

Aleksandar Nikolov will officially receive his trophy before Cucine Lube Civitanova's next match – on Sunday, November 9th, at 7:00 PM, when the team hosts Rana Verona at the Palasport di Civitanova Marche hall.
The match will be broadcast live on Max Sport, DAZN, VBTV.
