Ferre Reggers from Allianz Milano holds first place with 100 points and impressive efficiency – 6.25 points per set. The Belgian demonstrates stability and power in attack, becoming a key driving force for the Milanese team.
Aleksandar Nikolovcontinues to shine with elegant and stable volleyball –secondin the ranking with96 points, and the ratio of 5.65 points per set is among the highest for an outside hitter. The young Bulgarian solidifies his status as a leading scorer and a player with an exceptionally broad arsenal. Moreover, 29 of his points are so-called break points, i.e., scored when his team is serving – an indicator of a strong contribution in key moments.
After the fourth round of the SuperLega, not only statistics but also the opinion of specialists confirm Aleksandar Nikolov's rise. Lube's setter,Mattia Boninfante, commented on the young Bulgarian's performance on the show“After Hours, la SuperLega di notte”with Andrea Zorzi and Andrea Brogioni:
„The understanding with Nikolov – as long as things are going the way they are, it's not a bad choice to look for him in attack, and rightly so, because I think he is among those who have scored the most points in the championship (immediately after Reggers), attacking a lot. We can be less dependent on him, as we have more options in the entire squad, but he is an incredible player, and it is completely normal for him to take on so many attacks.“
Martin Atanasovis ranked at16th positionwith51 points, which is also a significant result, considering the more even distribution of attacks in Monza. He shows stability, especially in important rallies – 17 points from his own serve, which highlights his contribution in transitional phases.
Two Bulgarians in the top 20 most effective volleyball players in Italy after the fourth round is a strong signal for the growing role of native outside hitters in one of the strongest championships in the world.
