Due to delays in the program of the Italian Group A, the EuroVolley 2026 match schedule is expected by the end of the week

Asvolleyweek.bgreported on October 27, citing Polish journalist Jakub Balcerzak, the Bulgarian national team will face Poland on September 16 in their last group stage match of the European Volleyball Championship – EuroVolley 2026.

The President of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation confirmed that the official tournament schedule will be published no later than November 7, when ticket sales will also start for the group matches in Sofia, where our national team will play.

In connection with the preparation and confirmation of the full schedule, volleyweek.bgsought official information from the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV). The organization's press office clarified the following:

“The schedule for the matches in Group B (Sofia) was confirmed and finalized jointly with Infront at the end of last week.

Final confirmation for the matches in Group A, which will take place in Italy, is still pending. The full championship schedule for all groups is expected to be published at the end of this week. In view of this, it would not be appropriate to announce only three groups without including the host country's group for the semi-finals and medal matches.

The official EuroVolley website will be updated immediately after the approval of the entire program.”

The official championship website is available at:https://eurovolley.cev.eu/en/2026/.

The announcement from CEV confirms that the organizational process is in its final phase. The full EuroVolley 2026 program is expected to be presented by the end of the week, and Bulgarian fans will be able to purchase tickets from November 7.

The match between Bulgaria and Poland, which will conclude the group stage in Sofia, promises to be one of the tournament's highlights – both due to the opponent's high caliber and the expectations of a packed arena and strong support from the stands.
