The participants in the Men's Club World Championship have become clear.

Exactly 50 days remain until the start of the Men's FIVB Volleyball Club World Championship, which this year will take place in the Pará state city of Belém (Brazil). The competition will be held fromDecember 16 to 21, and Brazilian media reported on the list of participants, citing the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).

🌍 The Elite of Club Volleyball

The World Championship will bring together champions from different continents and offer a true gallery of volleyball stars. Among them, some of the brightest names in world volleyball stand out, including Olympic, European, and continental champions.

🇮🇹 European Powerhouses: Perugia and Zawiercie

Perugia, winner of the last Champions League title, will appear with an impressive international squad:
Simone Giannelli (Italy), Yuki Ishikawa (Japan), Kamil Semeniuk (Poland), Oleh Plotnytskyi (Ukraine), and Agustín Loser (Argentina). Angelo Lorenzetti's team is already established as a project accustomed to winning trophies.

Zawiercie (Poland), European vice-champion for the 2024/25 season, will perform under the leadership of Michał Winiarski. The squad features the experienced libero Jakub Popiwczak and the middle blocker Mateusz Bieniek, while among the foreign players, the American outside hitter Aaron Russell stands out.

🇯🇵 Asian Representative: Osaka Bluteon

Japan's Osaka Bluteon will be led by French setter Antoine Brizard and Cuban outside hitter Miguel Lopez. The team also includes Japanese national stars – opposite Yuji Nishida, outside hitter Masato Kai, middle blocker Akihiro Yamauchi, and libero Tomohiro Yamamoto.

🇧🇷 The Brazilian Trio in Belém

The hosts will be represented by three teams:

  • Sada Cruzeiro – South American champion

  • Praia Clube – vice-champion

  • Volley Renata – tournament host

The rosters of the Brazilian teams include several national team players, among them Bruninho, Wallace, Franco, Douglas Souza, Otávio, and others.

In addition to the European and South American powerhouses, two representatives from the Middle East and Africa will also participate in the tournament:
