These statistics not only earned him the MVP award but also placed him among the six best players of the first round – a group that includes established stars like Micah Christenson, Alessandro Michieletto, and Oleh Plotnytskyi.

For Bulgarian volleyball, this is yet another recognition of the level of our athletes in the strongest league in the world. Nikolov continues to be a key figure in Lube Civitanova, and his inclusion in "I MIGLIORI" is a clear signal that he is ready for a leadership role in the team in the new season.

The "I MIGLIORI" ranking is published after each round and serves as a kind of barometer for the individual form of players in the Italian championship.
The fact that Alexander Nikolov is among the chosen ones in its very first issue for the season shows how high the bar is set – and how naturally the Bulgarian already fits into the ranks of the big names in the SuperLega.
