Champion Bogdanka LUK Lublin started the new season with a bang after a clear victory in their away game against Steam Hemarpol Politechnika Częstochowa. National team captain Alex Grozdanov played a strong match, finishing with 8 points (2 blocks) and 85% attack efficiency.Grozdanov now has 101 blocks to his name after 40 matches played!Above all for the winners was Wilfredo Leon, scoring 16 points (5! aces and 1 block). The other Polish international, Kewin Sasak, scored 14 points for the win. The most effective player for the hosts was Czech international Patrik Indra, who recorded 14 points, but did not receive enough support from his teammates, none of whom finished with a double-digit score.

The Lublin team showed excellent organization in attack and an impressive balance – Leon was the leading scorer, but Sasak and Grozdanov consistently supported him. Komenda's good work (finishing with 5! blocks) in distribution and the aggressive serve were decisive for the emphatic 3-0 victory.
