Turkish grand Halkbank (Ankara) officially announced the signing of Bulgarian volleyball player Matey Kaziyski. The news was reported by the club via an official announcement.
The captain of the Bulgarian national team returns to the Ankara squad after 11 years, having previously defended Halkbank's colours in the 2013/2014 season. Then, Kaziyski won three trophies
the Turkish championship title, the national cup, and the Supercup.

🏐 Experience and Achievements
For more than two decades, Matey Kaziyski played for some of the strongest clubs in Europe
including the Italian teams Trento, Verona, and Trentino Volley, with whom he triumphed in the Champions League, the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship, and the Italian Cup.
Kaziyski is also a long-standing national team player for Bulgaria, part of the 'Lions' in some of their most successful campaigns at world and European championships.
Before joining and reforming the great 'Trentino trio' with Tsvetan Sokolov and coach Radostin Stoychev, Kaziyski played in the Bulgarian Supercup final with Lokomotiv Avia.

The official announcement states:
“Kaziyski, welcome back to our club! We wish you success in this new joint period.”
Kaziyski is expected to take a key role in Halkbank's squad for the 2025/2026 season, in which the team will participate in both the Turkish championship and the CEV Champions League.
