Radostina Marinova led Dinamo (Bucharest) to their first victory of the new season

The first match of the new season in the Romanian Women's Division A1 offered a real volleyball spectacle – the capital derby between Rapid and Dinamo, which was played just one day before the football match between the two clubs. Expectations for the guests' superiority were fully justified – Dinamo won 3:1 (25:18, 23:25, 25:15, 25:13), demonstrating power and better organization in the decisive moments of the match.

After Rapid took a 1:0 lead, the "red-and-whites" from Bucharest woke up and dominated decisively in the subsequent sets. They took the initiative with aggressive serving, a stable block, and excellently constructed counter-attacks.

Bulgarian highlight: strong start for Radostina Marinova

Bulgarian international Radostina Marinova, who plays as an opposite hitter, made an excellent debut for Dinamo. She was one of the three top scorers in the match, finishing with 14 points and a +7 rating, which highlights not only her effectiveness in attack but also her good work in defense and blocking. Marinova impressed with confidence, a variety of shots, and constant pressure on the opponent's block.

With her help, along with Milenko (18 pts) and the experienced Kristina Miron (16 pts), Dinamo formed an attacking trio that made the difference. Especially in the third and fourth sets, when the guests prevailed convincingly, the Bulgarian player was one of the drivers of the scoring run that broke Rapid's resistance.

The numbers show that Dinamo's attack is extremely balanced, with three main scorers, each with over 14 points. The block was also a key element – 12 successful blocks against only 3 for Rapid – an indicator that clearly outlines the physical and tactical superiority of Miloš Gavrilović's team.

Dinamo looks a far more complete and balanced squad compared to last season. The new additions, including Bulgarian opposite hitter Radostina Marinova, fit perfectly into the team's system. If they maintain this form, the "red-and-whites" will be one of the main favorites for the title in Romania.
