Nikolay Zhelyazkov was pleased with his team's performance after Levski's straight-sets victory against Beroe in the first match of the season. The coach emphasized that the team is still at the beginning of its preparation and faces numerous difficulties, but despite that, the volleyball shown was at a good level.

Zhelyazkov noted that in the second set, "the Blues" allowed too many easy points and at times were not concentrated enough, which allowed their opponent to stay in the match. Nevertheless, he described the performance as positive given the injuries and health problems the team has faced in recent days.

"We had players with surgeries, with high fever, with physical problems, but there's nothing you can do \u2013 you accept it as a fact. The good news is that we managed to put the whole puzzle together at the last minute and field a full squad," commented Levski's head coach.

Regarding the final, Zhelyazkov stated that he had no preference between the possible opponents \u2013 Neftochimic Burgas or Lokomotiv Plovdiv. "Both teams have valuable players. For me, the most important thing is what we do on our side of the court. If we give our best, we will be satisfied, regardless of the result," he added.

The coach concluded with optimism that with time and the recovery of injured players, Levski will show even better form and delight its fans with good results.
