Miroslav Zhivkov admitted that Beroe is still searching for its vision and identity as a new team with different players and characteristics. He pointed out that the team started the match against Levski with inaccuracies in tactics and serve management, and the effectiveness in attack was also below expectations. According to him, the opponent played stably in block and defense, while his players failed to maintain composure in crucial moments, especially in the second game, when they had the opportunity to take a lead of several points.
The coach emphasized that there is no room for excuses and that Beroe must quickly improve the execution of basic elements to build its new identity. Despite the loss, Zhivkov highlighted as a positive that the team did not give up and sought the result until the end.
However, he believes that the players need to be bolder in their decisions and take more risks on counter-attacks to increase their effectiveness. Zhivkov believes that the squad has the potential to build upon its performance, and if the players maximize their opportunities, results will follow. In the balanced championship, Beroe will pursue ambitious goals, albeit without making bold predictions.
