Hungarian international strengthens the ranks of "Lokomotiv Avia"

25-year-old Kristof Horvath is the new addition to the "Lokomotiv Avia" squad. The Hungarian plays as an outside hitter and is a regular starter for his national team. He last wore the jersey of the Austrian club "Zadruga Aich/Dob". In his homeland, he played for "Kecskeméti" and "Fino Kaposvár", after which he continued his career in France - first with "Saint Nazaire", where after a strong season he was noticed by the elite "Nantes" and played there in the 2022/23 season, finishing in 2nd place. The other new outside hitter is the experienced Todor Valchev, who played for CSKA last season.

"With the signing of Horvath, the selection can be said to be complete. He is a very useful volleyball player who I think will fit our system perfectly. He will join us for the start of our training in Plovdiv. We have created a blend of young and experienced players in every position. It is not out of the question that we might sign someone else before the start of the season, but they would truly have to be worth it. A very serious championship awaits us given the selections made by the clubs, and the clashes on the court will guarantee a show for the public," said Lyudmil Naydenov, manager of "Lokomotiv Avia".
