Numia Vero Volley Milano won 3–1 (26–24; 19–25; 25–21; 25–16) against Megabox Ondulati Del Savio Vallefoglia in a mid-week Serie A1 match, played at the Opiquad Arena in Monza. After a hesitant start, the hosts found their rhythm and gained the upper hand thanks to better organization in block-defense and stability in attack.
The MVP of the match was libero Eleonora Fersino, who impressed with 80% positive and 73% perfect reception. Paola Egonu was the top scorer with 25 points, while American Khalia Lanier added 17 with 63% positive reception.
Mikaela Stoyanova made a brief appearance in the first set but did not score any points. Tsvetomira Mitkova once again did not get any playing time.
