CSKA Women's team signed a Brazilian player for the first time

CSKA will bring a South American flair to the new season of the women's championship. For the first time in the club's history, a Brazilian player will wear the "red" jersey – Helena Moniki, a 23-year-old outside hitter (183 cm), who has played for Hapoel Kfar Saba in Israel and Galeries Highrisers in the Philippines. This was announced by the club's website.

First Impressions and Goals

Upon her arrival in Sofia, Moniki admitted she felt "butterflies in her stomach" and eagerly awaited the first matches. She describes CSKA as "the most successful club in Bulgaria" and feels proud to defend its colors.

Her transfer is the result of joint efforts between her agent and the management, and the team atmosphere impresses her: "The girls welcomed me very warmly. We work at a high level and I already feel part of the team."

The Brazilian's goals are clear – a stable season and a contribution to the team's development: "I will give my all and I believe that my concentration is one of my strongest qualities."

Off the Court and a Message to the Fans

Off the court, Moniki is a calm person who enjoys walks and exploring new places. The language barrier doesn't bother her – for now she communicates in English and is already learning Bulgarian.

"I know that CSKA fans are passionate and dedicated. I hope to see them in the hall soon and together experience a strong season," she says.

With the signing of Helena Moniki, CSKA is not just making a historic transfer – the club is banking on a South American spirit that could become a key factor in the new season.
