First and foremost, I want to express my huge gratitude to the medical staff. Without them, this wouldn't have been possible. Literally 48 hours after the match against Portugal, I couldn't get out of bed and absolutely didn't believe I would be able to play today, considering we played a full five sets. They made the impossible possible.
I also thank all the people from Bulgaria for their support. When you know they believe in you, there's no way you can give up. From the end of the match against Portugal until the start of today's, I haven't stopped working – the only time I wasn't doing exercises was while I was sleeping.
After the second set, we started serving better, and their serve also weakened slightly. Our reception stabilized, and we gradually started to adapt to their game – with a better block, more crucial points, and a more effective defense. Little by little, we started to 'read' them.
Honestly, I still can't fully grasp what we've achieved. For the first time, a team like ours has reached the Top 4. Personally, I'm just grateful that I was able to play, because it would have been unfair to all the hard work I've put in so far not to be on the court. Maybe tomorrow I will fully realize what we've done. Now we just look ahead – to the next match and, God willing, to the final.
