Martin Atanasov:
I wouldn't say that we relaxed after the second set. Rather, the Slovenians started playing very strongly on serve and in defense. They started hitting heavy serves, touching every ball on the block and in defense. It became difficult for us to handle the tough situations. But I'm glad that in the end, with team play, we managed to close out the match in the tie-break.
Iliya Petkov:
At first, we didn't let them breathe, but then we stopped risking on serve. They started putting in strong serves and that turned the tide of the match. That was the key moment for the third and fourth sets. I'm glad we managed to regroup in the second half of the tie-break. As for playing through the middle, Moni Nikolov looked for me a lot in the first three sets. Compared to the match against Germany, this time I received more balls.
Damyan Kolev:
I don't like to give myself a self-assessment. For me, it's important to be useful to the team and for it to win. That's the most important thing for me. In the absence of Marti Bozhilov, it's difficult, it's true, but my teammates help me a lot and things are working out in the best possible way. Something can always be improved in every element. The most important thing is that we managed to defeat Slovenia, which is a very strong team, and move forward. Just let's stay healthy.
All three of my interlocutors guaranteed that there would be no relaxation for the match against Chile and that they always, regardless of the opponent, go out for a win.
