France started the World Cup with a classic against Korea.

Olympic champion France left Korea no chance and won their opening match of Group C at the World Championship in Manila with a resounding3:0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-16).
Andrea Giani's players entered the match with a serious attitude, without falling into a training pace, and imposed full control from the first rallies.

The main weapons of the "roosters" were the powerful serve and well-organized block, which shattered any desire for resistance from Korea. Thus, France topped the group, also taking advantage of the fact that Argentina lost a point against Finland.

Ervin Ngapeth participated and finished with 7 points, while the diagonal took on the burden in attackJean Patry, who became the most productive in the match.
