USA started the World Cup convincingly – 3:0 against Colombia

The USA national volleyball team did not encounter any particular difficulties in their first match of the World Championship in the Philippines, defeating Colombia with a decisive 3:0 (25:20, 25:21, 25:14). The match was played in MALL OF ASIA ARENA, the hall in Manila, where Bulgaria will face Germany today. The "Yankees" showed consistency and controlled the game almost entirely, with the South Americans only managing to offer some resistance in the second game.

After this success, the USA recorded their first three points and are focusing their attention on the upcoming match against Portugal on Monday. In Group D, the intrigue for first place seems likely to be decided in the last match, when the Americans will meet Cuba.
