The contract between Lokomotiv AVIA and Matey Kaziyski is now a fact.

Volleyball club "Lokomotiv AVIA" officially announced the signing of Matey Kaziyski. The legend of Bulgarian volleyball will wear the black-and-white jersey and will be part of the ambitious project of the Plovdiv team for the new season.

The club's management and staff do not hide their big goals. "Motivation is strong, and the team is cohesive and ready for challenges," the club shared.

The training process starts today in the hall in Plovdiv, with spirits high among players and fans. "The fans are in our hearts, together we are stronger," reads the message from "Lokomotiv AVIA."

With the arrival of Matey Kaziyski to the team, the expectations of fans and experts for the upcoming season have become even greater.
Bulgarian volleyball player Matey Kaziyski expressed satisfaction with signing the contract with Lokomotiv Avia. This became clear from a video released by the club. In it, the experienced athlete, the owner of the "black-and-whites" - Ivaylo Konstantinov, and the general manager - Lyudmil Naydenov, commented on the contract between the two parties.

"Our relationship with Mr. Konstantinov dates back a long time, and I am extremely pleased that it can finally culminate in such a collaboration. We talked all summer and finally managed to make it official, even though many things were said about the matter throughout this period," Kaziyski stated.

"For many years I haven't played in front of a Bulgarian audience, and this is one of the factors that inspires me to perform even better," the volleyball player added.

Lokomotiv Avia owner Ivaylo Konstantinov revealed the agreement between the club and Kaziyski.

"I am extremely happy about this signing. It is an honor for me that Matey is part of our team. I can say that the audience of Lokomotiv Plovdiv deserves it. I hope that we will not only be champions, but also win more and more volleyball hearts with convincing play," said Konstantinov.

"This contract we signed is just a formality. Nothing has changed since the day we shook hands. Matey will play for Lokomotiv Plovdiv until he receives an offer he cannot refuse," he further explained and turned to Kaziyski: "Matey, you are free at any moment to accept any challenge for yourself. I have no doubt that your heart is with Lokomotiv Plovdiv, and no matter how many times you leave, you will always return to us."

General Manager Lyudmil Naydenov, in turn, was categorical that the goal for Lokomotiv in the upcoming season with Matey Kaziyski in the squad is to win the championship title.

"The team was selected to fight for the top spots even without him, but after his arrival, we are obliged to fight only for first place. This is sports, and nothing is certain, but we will fight for all the titles we compete for," Naydenov said.

Thus, speculations originating from local media in Trento, which floated the idea that Matey might play for Trentino as a substitute for the injured Daniele Lavia, were put to rest.
