National player Vladimir Garkov appeared on the official calendar of the French club Saint-Nazaire for the 2025/2026 season. It marks all the team's matches in the elite League A, and the Bulgarian receiver is among the faces with which the club promotes the new campaign.
Bulgarian derbies against Veni Antov
Fans will be able to follow two special clashes between our national players:
November 15, 2025 – the first "Bulgarian derby", when Garkov's Saint-Nazaire visits Veni Antov's Tourcoing.
January 10, 2026 – the second match, in which the roles are reversed and Antov will visit with his team in Saint-Nazaire's hall.
Both matches are expected with great interest, as they pit two of our most promising volleyball players and former teammates in Levski Sofia against each other in one of the strongest championships in Europe.
🔵 Season start for the "Blues"
Meanwhile, the "Blues" will open the season on Tuesday, October 21, in the "Pierre de Coubertin" hall. Their opponent at the start will be the Poitiers team, and the match is expected to be a real celebration for the Parisian audience.
Vladimir Garkov's presence in Saint-Nazaire's calendar is a clear signal of his role in the team. The November and January clashes with Veni Antov will be particularly interesting, as they not only have a national flavor but can also prove decisive for the positions of both teams.
