In defense, the indicators were almost equal - 50 digs for Italy against 51 for Slovakia. Egonu was the top scorer for the winners with 15 points, while Nervini finished with 9. For Slovakia, Sunderlikova concluded with 12 points, and Herdova with 6.

Thailand - Egypt 3:1 (25-15, 23-25, 25-15, 25-11)

Thailand scored 56 points in attack against 37 for Egypt. In blocks, the hosts had an advantage with 16 against 9, and in serves - 4 aces against 3. In digs, Egypt even recorded a slight advantage - 98 against 94. The difference in reception was also noticeable - 89 successful for Egypt against 61 for Thailand.
