Volleyball Club Dunav (Ruse) officially introduced its new addition - middle blocker Aleksandar Kordev.

The 32-year-old volleyball player is 201 cm tall and has a serious career in the Bulgarian elite behind him. He began his journey at Slavia (Sofia), and then successively played for Teteven Volley, Levski (Sofia), Dobrudzha 07 (Dobrich), Montana, Neftochimic (Burgas), and for the last two seasons was part of Hebar (Pazardzhik).

On the international stage, Kordev also has notable successes. In 2013, as part of the Bulgarian national team U23, he reached fourth place at the World Championship in this age group.

Expectations from the new transfer

The management of VC Dunav believes that with his accumulated experience and stable presence at the net, Aleksandar Kordev will become a real "wall" against opposing attacks and will make a significant contribution to the club's ambitions.

The team of the Ruse club wished their new player health and many victories in the blue jersey.
