The U19 Women's World Champions were chosen as the Team of the Month for July in the traditional poll of Press Club "Bulgaria." The award ceremony and subsequent press conference have already taken place, with the event attracting strong media interest. The honor came as a well-deserved recognition for the golden success of the young volleyball players at the 2025 World Championship.

Coach of the Month Atanas Petrov

Atanas Petrov, the head coach of the national team, was announced as "Coach of the Month" – the specialist who led Bulgaria U19 to the world title. The event coincided with Petrov's departure for Switzerland, where the 48-year-old coach continues his career, taking over the men's Swiss vice-champion – Volley Schönenwerd.

With this award, the team makes a strong bid for a top place in the annual "Team of the Year" ranking. We remind you that this team was "Team of the Year" 2024, after winning the European U18 title.
