The team of Dunav (Ruse), which will again be part of efbet Super Volley in the new season, announced its first new signing. It is about the Ukrainian setter Oleksii Holoven.

The club introduced the 26-year-old volleyball player as its new playmaker. Holoven is 196 cm tall and already has solid experience in various championships. In his homeland, he defended the colors of Lokomotyv - Zbirna Kharkivskoi Oblasti and MHP-Vinnytsia, and then moved to one of the strongest championships on the continent - the Polish PlusLiga, where he wore the jersey of Barkom-Każany Lwów.

His career also includes a stint in Kazakhstan with the team of Atyrau VC, as well as a season in Kosovo, where in 2024 he won the national Cup with KV Ferizaj. At the national level, Holoven has been part of the Ukraine national teams - both junior and senior.

Dunav welcomed their new playmaker with wishes for health and many victories in the blue jersey:
