Volleyball club CSKA Sofia made a serious transfer by acquiring Australian opposite Hameish Hazeldine. According to information from volleyweek.bg, the contract is already a fact and the "army men" expect the player to join the preparation for the new season in the Super League.
The 29-year-old Hazeldine is well-known in his homeland, where in 2022 he was part of the Australian national team. He was included in the squad for the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) and even became the team's leading scorer in the match against Iran. This established him as one of the promising attackers in Australian volleyball.

After a stable university career in Canada, Hazeldine played in several championships in Europe and Asia. He has played in Slovenia, Indonesia, Romania, and Greece, and everywhere he has established himself as the main opposite.
