The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) officially announced that the draw for EuroVolley 2026 for men will take place at the iconic landmark Norman-Swabian Castle in Bari. The date is October 4th. Besides Italy, Bulgaria, Finland, and Romania will also host individual stages of the championship.
The final tournament will be entirely in Italy, with matches played in four cities on the Apennine Peninsula – Naples, Modena, Turin, and Milan. The culmination will be in Milan on September 27, 2026, when the new European champion will be crowned. They will win not only the trophy but also a direct quota for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028.
After the completion of the qualifications, all24 participantsin the championship are already known - Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, Finland, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Estonia, Israel, Spain, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Turkey, Hungary, Ukraine, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, Switzerland.
They will learn their fate precisely in Bari, where the four preliminary groups will be formed.
