Have you ever watched a volleyball transfer and felt like you were in a novel of destiny? Well, this summer brought exactly such a story.
Andrea Tsvetanova, daughter of the national U16 women's coach - Evelina Tsvetanova, says "bye" to Nepal and Kathmandu Spikers and heads to UNEC Volleyball Club in Azerbaijan. Almost simultaneously, another Bulgarian setter - Polina Neykova, friend of national opposite Dimitar Dimitrov, heads in the opposite direction - from Azerbaijan (Absheron) to... Kathmandu Spikers in Nepal.
Yes, that's right: one goes to Azerbaijan, the other comes to Nepal, as if someone shuffled the cards and said: "You will switch sides!"
On a personal level, the situation is even more interesting. Polina and Dimitrov have a six-month-old daughter, and he signed in South Korea. The good news? Nepal is closer to South Korea than Bulgaria, which means the family can see each other more often. A little geography and a lot of love - volleyball is not the only game on the court.

And on a sporting level - Tsvetanova has already left her European mark in Nepal, and now Polina takes over to ensure that the standard of the Bulgarian setter will be maintained. Thus, Kathmandu Spikers will lose nothing but a little sun, because one Bulgarian will now be in another Asian country.
And one more detail that connects the three in this story - both Andrea, Polina, and Dimitrov started their professional journey at CSKA. Their dreams started there, and now fate brings them together on one continent, but with a common beginning.
The story is like a TV series: transfers, distances, love, babies, European class... and all this in one summer. Welcome to global volleyball, where even fate can intertwine so precisely, as if every pass is played "on a string".
