Dobromir Dimitrov joins Guaguas (Las Palmas), will set for Osmany Juantorena

Bulgarian setter Dobromir Dimitrov is the new addition to CV Guaguas Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Born on July 7, 1991, he will play in the Spanish Superliga for the first time. The symbolism of his birth date raises a question - will he wear a jersey with number 77, the club wonders. In the "Neftochimik" team, where he played last season, he wore number 7.

With the presence of Juantorena and Dimitrov, the Spanish champion not only consolidates its leadership at home but also makes a serious bid for a breakthrough in Europe. It's interesting that Juantorena already has a "Bulgarian trace" - he played in Trento during Rado Stoychev's time, alongside Matey Kaziyski, and surely remembers a few phrases in our language. This could turn out to be the "secret channel" for communication between him and Dimitrov on the court.
