Simeon Nikolov did not travel with the U20 men's team, which departed yesterday for Strasbourg. There, Miroslav Zhivkov's boys will play 4 control matches, as part of their preparation for the Balkan Championship and the European Championship. Moni will leave for France tomorrow, after his commitments to the main sponsor of the volleyball federation, LIDL, are completed. It is probably a promotional photoshoot, in which his brother Alex Nikolov also participated some time ago. In addition, Moni has to prepare documentation for his enrollment at Long Beach University.
Today the team faces France in a friendly match, which starts at 5 PM Bulgarian time. The second friendly match starts at 4 PM, and the third match with France is at 6 PM. The camp will conclude with a friendly match against Poland at 5 PM Bulgarian time. The Bulgarians return on August 4th.
