Last season's golden treble winners "Levski Sofia" held their first training session for the new campaign today. Under the guidance of Nikolay Zhelyazkov, the team started work with high goals and expectations.
Soon, the new addition Julian Weizig will join the squad, who is expected to provide additional power in attack. National team players will join the preparations after the end of the World Championship, where they are currently defending Bulgaria's colors.
Experience and frontline returns
The 'old dogs' Todor Skrimov and captain Svetoslav Gotsev, whose experience and leadership qualities will be invaluable for the young teammates in the new season, were also present in the group for the first training session.

Gordan Lyutskanov also joined them, returning to his home club after a stint in the Italian Serie A2, bringing with him valuable international experience.
Unified start for all age groups
For the first time before the start of the season, not only the men's representative team but also the club's women's team, as well as all youth formations, gathered in the hall. Thus, "Levski Sofia" demonstrated the integrity and continuity in its structure - from the smallest talents to the established stars.
Warm wishes for success in the new season were extended to all athletes and coaches, with the ambition that the blue-and-whites will once again be a factor both domestically and on the international stage.
