CSKA volleyball players will start preparations for the new season next week, learnedvolleyweek.bg. Initially, some of head coach Sasho Popov's players will undergo general physical training, after which they will gradually begin gym sessions.

Among them will be national player Dimitar Dimitrov, who will maintain his form with the 'Reds' in fulfillment of a commitment made to the national team's staff.

All available volleyball players, including Marti Bozhilov, will gather for their first full practice on September 1.

Transfer of Iranian star completed

The club confirmed that all details regarding the acquisition of Iranian international Mohammadreza Beik have been finalized. We reported on this transfer on July 9. The 25-year-old outside hitter, who is 197 cm tall, is expected to arrive in Sofia early next week to join the team's preparations.

The transfer is considered a key move in CSKA's selection before the start of the new Superliga season.
