All 24 teams that will compete for the title at Women's Euro 2026 have become clear

After the completion of the qualification tournaments for the 2026 Women's European Volleyball Championship, all 24 teams that will compete for the continental title became clear.

Winners of the qualification groupsare:

  • Germany

  • Belgium

  • Slovenia

  • Montenegro (for the first time at a women's European Championship!)

  • Spain

  • Greece

  • Croatia

In addition,the five best second-placed teams, who also secured participation, are:

  • Hungary

  • Latvia - last participated in 1997

  • Portugal

  • Austria - last participated in a European Championship in 1971

  • Romania

The tournament will also feature four teams from the host countries - Turkey, Czech Republic, Sweden, and Azerbaijan, as well as eight teams with a direct quota from the top 8 of EuroVolley 2023 - Serbia, Netherlands, Italy, Poland, France,Bulgaria, Ukraine and Slovakia.

Historical momentis the qualification of Montenegro, which will participate in a European Women's Championship for the first time.

Now all eyes are on the upcoming championship, which will be held in four countries and promises a lot of emotions and a high level of play.
