The national teams of Poland and France will face each other in the final of the FIVB Volleyball Men's U19 World Championship. The tournament is taking place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and began on July 24.
In the semifinals, played on Saturday, August 2, France defeated Iran 3-1 (14-25, 25-14, 25-22, 25-19). After a weak first set, 'Les Bleus' managed to turn the match around thanks to strong blocking and a balanced attack. Middle blocker Daniel Iyegbekedo played a key role with 18 points (including 6 blocks), while Andrey Jokhanovich (13 pts), Noah Duflo-Rossi (11 pts), and Adelen Nowaczyk (10 pts) also excelled in attack. Thus, France will play in their second consecutive U19 World Championship final, having won the title in 2023 in Argentina.
Poland qualified for the final after a convincing 3-0 victory over Spain (25-19, 25-16, 25-17). The Poles dominated the match and left no doubt about their superiority. They performed excellently in reception and defense, showing tactical stability and strong game organization. Libero Stajer stood out with saved balls, while attackers Lenik, Skura, and Lisson (65% attack efficiency) provided the necessary scoring. The team successfully neutralized Spain's leader Irach Camacho Cesar, who was a major threat in previous encounters between the two teams.

The final between France and Poland will be played tomorrow at 3 PM Bulgarian time and will determine the new U19 world champion.
