Legend Andrea Gardini remains coach of Olympiacos Piraeus for the new season

The Greek champion is the potential next opponent for Bulgarian champion Levski on their path to the Champions League group stage.

Andrea Gardini will continue as coach of Olympiacos Piraeus next season, according to the renowned Italian volleyball websiteivolleymagazine.netAfter an exceptional playing career, Gardini also enjoys a successful coaching adventure, which began in 2004. He was assistant coach for the Italian (2007–2010) and Polish (2011–2013) national teams under Andrea Anastasi. He also coached AZS Olsztyn (2014/15) and ZAKSA (2017–19), winning the Polish title in 2018/19. In Italy, he coached Piacenza (2019/20), and in 2021, he won another Polish championship with Jastrzębski Węgiel. Since 2024, he has been the coach of Olympiacos Piraeus in Greece.
