The Bulgarian national team for boys under 19is already in Uzbekistanto participate in the World Championship, and the name ofZhasmin Velichkov– the receiver who was key to the success of the U21 team during the Euro qualifiers in Samokov – stands out again. Led by Ventsi Simeonov, the young "lions" won the tournament convincingly, and now Velichkov is among the leaders of the U19 team under the guidance of Miroslav Zhivkov.
On the eve of their departure, the nationals finished third at the Balkan Championship – the last test before the World Championship. The Bulgarian team arrived in Tashkent after a flight with a layover in Istanbul and is now fully ready for the start.
