The Bulgarian national volleyball team for girls under 19 – the new world champions – was officially received in the National Assembly. The invitation came personally from the Speaker of Parliament, Natalia Kiselova, who welcomed them in the plenary hall with the words:
👉 "When we are united and work together, we can be the best in the world."

Our young hopes, led by coach Atanas Petrov, won the world title after a 3:1 victory over the USA in the final played in Osijek, Croatia. They are the first women's team in team sports in our country to reach the world summit.
📣 "The girls achieved something historic. With the motto'Together for Bulgaria'they proved that when we are united, there are no impossible heights," stated the President of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation, Lyubomir Ganev. He reminded that the last world title for Bulgaria in volleyball was in 1991 – for boys under 20 in Cairo.
🗳 Ganev addressed the members of parliament with an appeal: "Let's create better conditions for sports and life in our country. Volleyball is one of the few things that unites and brings pride."

🌟 The Speaker of Parliament awarded the federation with a plaque"145 years National Assembly", and the captain Viktoria Ninova received an honorary badge. On behalf of the team, the girls presented a volleyball signed by all the players – with a wish to inspire courage in difficult moments.

🎙 "We are happy that our hard work was rewarded and we managed to make all Bulgarians happy," said Viktoria Ninova.
📸 The young volleyball players showed the won trophy in the Marble Foyer, and in the hall, the MPs applauded them on their feet – a moment of national pride and inspiration.

🔴Historical recognition for a generation of champions that has already changed the face of Bulgarian sports.
