In exactly three years – after the editions in 1932 and 1984, the Summer Olympic Games will return to Los Angeles for the third time in history. The 34th Olympiad will take place from Friday, July 14, with the opening ceremony between the two venues – Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Inglewood Stadium, until Sunday, July 30, when the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum itself will shine again, as the world's best athletes gather for one last, unforgettable celebration.
The schedule for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games for individual disciplines has also been announced. Volleyball will be played in Anaheim, 43 km from Los Angeles. Volleyball matches will begin on Saturday, July 15, and the group stage will conclude on Saturday, July 23. Quarter-final matches will be played on July 24 and 25. Semi-finals will be played on July 26 and 27. The final matches for bronze and gold medals for men and women will be played from July 28 to 30, according to Italian volleyball websites volleyball.it and ivolleymagazine.net.

Beach volleyball qualifications will take place from July 15-22, with three sessions per day, with only the last day having two sessions. The round of 16 will be on July 23 and 24, the quarter-finals on July 25 and 26, and the semi-finals on July 27. The finals for medal distribution for men and women will be on July 28 and 29.
