Bulgaria has registered 25 female volleyball players for the upcoming FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship, which will take place in Thailand from August 22 to September 7, 2025. This is an extended squad, from which head coach Antonina Zetova will determine the final group to represent the country at the championship.
The list includes the names of established national players, but the inclusion of several young athletes from the U19 and U21 squads also makes an impression, as they will gain experience at the highest level.
Libero Galina Karabasheva dropped out of the group.Galina Karabashevawho ruptured her Achilles tendon in a match against Brazil and will be recovering for a long time. Thus, she will not be able to participate in the World Championship, and her place in the group remains open for new decisions from the coaching staff.
Among those registered is Miroslava Paskova, who did not play in any of the Nations League tournaments due to injury.
