Today officially launched the campaign for Lube Civitanova's season tickets for the 2025/26 season. From 5:00 PM local time, fans can purchase a subscription both at the ticket office and online. Even with the opening of the campaign, the breeze of the new season is felt around the Eurosuole Forum, and the team's ambitions are high.

Among the first to speak about the upcoming season was Lube's Bulgarian star Alex Nikolov. The young outside hitter is a key figure in the club's project and is simultaneously preparing to defend Bulgaria's colors in the third week of the Volleyball Nations League (VNL).

"We will be a beautiful team to watch"

"I think we will be a great team to watch – with many interesting players, including new faces who are already proven on the international stage and have shown their qualities," Nikolov shared. "I expect a fun season both for us on the court and for the fans in the stands. I can't wait to start preparation, each of us will be even better prepared to deal with the challenges."

The new scheme with three outside hitters

Regarding the upcoming change in Lube's tactical scheme, where a formation with three outside hitters is expected, Nikolov commented:

"I am sure that with the physical and technical qualities I have inherited from my family and which I strive to develop every day, it will be a nice challenge. I am convinced that I can give a lot and justify the expectations of the coaching staff. This will happen with time – I will have to be patient."

For World Volleyball Day

Asked about FIVB's initiative to declare July 7 as World Volleyball Day, Nikolov shared:

"Dedicate a world day to volleyball was more than right, deserved, and very beautiful. Everything that stimulates the development of our sport gives it an even wider international reach and attracts the sports community around the world. This also helps in people's imagination to shorten the distance between volleyball and mass sports like football and basketball."
