Former national team coach Plamen Konstantinov, who is the head coach of Russian 'Lokomotiv' Novosibirsk, is gathering the team for a training camp in the sea capital Varna. Konstantinov and the other coach Milen Bogdanov are coming to Bulgaria a few days earlier to finalize the team's program. The camp is scheduled to start next week and will last at least 10 days.

Immediately after the camp, 5 players of the team - Ilyas Kurkaev, Dmitry Lyzik, Ilya Kazachenkov, Igor Kobzar, Roman Martynuk - and physiotherapist Roman Cheblukov, will participate in Russia's first ever exhibition match for the Channel One Cup, which will be played on August 17. 'Lokomotiv' is coming to us without its two foreign players, the Brazilian Yoandy Leal and the Serbian Marko Ivović, who are representing their national teams at the Olympic Games in Paris.
