Jasmine Velichkov was officially presented in Monza

Bulgarian volleyball continues to export its greatest hopes to the world stage. Today, 18-year-old opposite Jasmin Velichkov was officially presented as a new addition to the Italian giant Vero Volley Monza. With this, the transfer, whichvolleyweek.bgfirst reported in April, received its official confirmation.

👕 From Beroe to Monza – a story of maturity and ambition

Velichkov had a strong season with Beroe (Stara Zagora), where he was a constant starter and a driving force in the squad. And with his help, Stara Zagora qualified for European tournaments – a truly historic step for the club. Statistics from the Bulgarian championship show stability, technical maturity, and composure that far exceed his age.

🥈 Bulgaria's Silver Hero from U20 in Greece and Serbia

Last year was particularly significant for Jasmin. First, he wore the national jersey of Bulgaria at the U18 European Championship in Sofia.

Subsequently came the peak — a silver medal from the U20 European Championship, held in Greece and Serbia. There, Velichkov was among the most consistent players and left a clear mark with his game.

📲 "Il talento classe 2007 arriva a Monza ❤️💙"

The official presentation came from Vero Volley Monza's social media profiles. The Italians published:

"The talent born in 2007 arrives in Monza ❤️💙
Part of the Bulgarian national team, he is ready to wear the jersey of the Vero Volley men's team 💪"

Thus, the Bulgarian becomes part of Monza's ambitious project, which in recent seasons has established itself as a factor in Serie A1 and a regular participant in European club tournaments.

🚀 The beginning of the Italian adventure

Jasmin Velichkov will have the opportunity to face some of the biggest names in world volleyball and continue his development in one of the strongest leagues on the planet. A difficult but exciting season awaits him, which will certainly be closely followed by all fans of Bulgarian volleyball.
