CSKA youth player Vidin Natsev got playing time in Narbonne's 1:3 (25:22, 27:29, 21:25, 19:25) home loss to Tours in a match from the fifth round of the French men's championship Alterna VolleyStar.
The match at "Narbonne Arena" was played in front of 2742 spectators and lasted 115 minutes, with the visitors, whose squad includes two-time Olympic champion Earvin Ngapeth, managing to turn the tide after losing the first set.

Michael Czerwinski was the top scorer for Narbonne with an impressive 25 points, including 23 in attack and 2 directly from serve. The opposite hitter scored 23 out of 39 attacks (59% success rate).
Tim Held added 11 points, and Liam Pat contributed 10.
For the winners, Vasily Molotkov was the top scorer with 20 points, including 18 in attack and 2 blocks. The Russian opposite hitter demonstrated a 64% success rate in attacks.
Victor Almeida Cardoso added 14 points, Simon Roehrig finished with 13, and François Huetz contributed 11.
Earvin Ngapeth scored 10 points – 9 in attack and 1 ace. The French star finished with a 38% attack success rate and 50% positive reception.
Narbonne started the match better and won the first set 25:22. The hosts also had an advantage in the second part, leading 16:14, but Tours turned the tide and snatched the dramatic set 29:27.
This turnaround proved crucial for the outcome of the match. The visitors gradually asserted their superiority, won the third set 25:21, and closed the match after 25:19 in the fourth.
The main difference between the two teams was efficiency in attack. Tours scored 53 points from attack with a 58% success rate, while Narbonne finished with 50 points and 48%.
The visitors also had a significant advantage in blocking – 11:6, and their reception was significantly more stable – 51% positive against only 34% for the hosts.
Despite Narbonne's six aces against five for Tours, the hosts could not compensate for the opponent's superiority in the other game elements.
For Natsev, the match was an opportunity to appear against one of the strongest teams in France and to test his skills against players of Ngapeth's class, although his participation remained limited.
