An Iranian could strengthen CSKA
Първо във VolleyWeek

CSKA volleyball team is on the verge of a serious acquisition, as it became clear that the club is in advanced negotiations to sign Iranian international Mohammadreza Beik. The 25-year-old outside hitter, born on February 8, 2000, is 197 cm tall and is considered one of the most interesting names who could arrive in Bulgaria this summer.

Beik most recently played for Kuwaiti club Qadsia SC - a club known for its ambitious squad selection and significant budget for the region. Interestingly, there he shared a locker room with Bulgarian Branimir Grozdanov, as well as former Dutch international Thijs Ter Horst. Prior to that, he had played for teams from Iran, Portugal, Finland, Greece, and Indonesia.

The Iranian outside hitter stands out with impressive height and solid statistics in both attack and reception, which makes him extremely valuable for the balance of any team.

Despite the "reds'" enthusiasm, Beik's transfer is not entirely certain. Geopolitical tensions between Iran and Israel create complex difficulties regarding the administrative procedures for his arrival in Bulgaria. However, the club remains optimistic and believes they will manage to register the player in time for the new season.
