The Appeals Committee of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation confirmed the penalties for Georgi and Valentin Bratoev from Dea Sport. Both remain sanctioned with two matches suspension from competitive rights, and their total fines amount to 2500 euros.
The more interesting point in the final decision is related to Georgi Bratoev. The Appeals Committee reclassified his violation, adding to the description of his actions.
In the initial decision of the Disciplinary Committee from August 18, the violation was described as "entering the court and attempting physical altercation."
In the decision of the Appeals Committee from October 20, the wording is now "attempting physical altercation with an opposing player by entering the court and swinging to strike."
Thus, in the final description of the violation, "swinging to strike" has been explicitly added, which was not present in the initially announced wording.
Despite the reclassification, Georgi Bratoev's penalty remains unchanged \u2013 two matches suspension from competitive rights and a fine of 1500 euros.
For Valentin Bratoev, the Appeals Committee confirms the initial sanction of two matches and a fine of 1000 euros.
The decision of the Appeals Committee is final and not subject to appeal.
Finally: BFV confirmed the punishments of the Bratoev brothers, due to a conflict in beach volleyball
