Neftochimic parted ways with Adam Bartos just three months after signing him

Neftochimic 2010 parted ways with Czech outside hitter Adam Bartos just days before the start of the new WINBET Super Volley season. The Burgas club announced that the 34-year-old volleyball player's contract was terminated by mutual agreement, without specifying the reasons for the decision.
Bartos was presented as a new signing on July 15, becoming the seventh player acquired in Neftochimic's summer selection. Thus, his stay in Burgas ends just three months after his arrival.
The Czech outside hitter participated in the pre-season training and started as a regular in the victories over CSKA and Beroe in the 'Stara Zagora' Cup tournament in early October. However, in the last match against Serbian Vojvodina, his place in the starting lineup was taken by Dimitar Vasilev.
After the tournament, head coach Ivan Stanev revealed that Bartos had minor leg problems due to overexertion.
The Czech was also part of Neftochimic's squad for the Bulgarian Supercup in Sofia. In the final against Levski, lost 1:3 (16:25, 22:25, 25:13, 22:25), he did not start as a regular but came on as a substitute.

Just two days after the final, the announcement of the split followed. The club thanked Bartos for his cooperation and wished him health and future success.
His departure comes on the eve of the Burgas team's first championship match. On October 22, Neftochimic visits Deia Sport in the city derby of the first round of WINBET Super Volley.
