Volleyball Champions League 2025/2026: Clear Order of Pots and the Path to the Group Stage for Levski

On July 15 (Tuesday), the official draw for the group stage of the Volleyball Champions League for the 2025/2026 season will take place. The pots and the teams that will participate in the most prestigious European club tournament, organized by CEV, are already known.volleyweek.bgconsulted CEV to provide the most accurate information about the groups and Levski's path to them.

📊 Group Scheme and Pots

A total of20 teamswill form the group stage, which are distributed into4 pots of 5 teams each. The teams are placed in these pots according to the latest European club ranking, and the draw will determine which groups they will be placed in.

ℹ️ Note:
Thus, Pot 4 again includes 5 teams – three with "wild cards" and two spots that will be filled by the winners of QR3.
In QR3 there will betwo separate pairs, who will play on a home/away basis, and their winners will fill the group stage.

🔵 Who will fight for these last two quotas?

Levski Sofiawill have to go through tough qualifications to qualify for the group stage. Along with the 'Blues', these aresome of the teamsthat will fight for the two available spots:

  • Guaguas Las Palmas(Spain)

  • Olympiakos Piraeus(Greece)

  • Dinamo Bucharest(Romania)

  • Ach Volley Ljubljana(Slovenia)

The final qualification scheme and draw for them will become clear in August, and the matches will be held in October and November to determine the two winners from QR3 who will fill urn 4.

🔥 Levski and the chance for a spectacle with 'Bulgarian' giants

IfLevski Sofiamanages to pass the qualifications and enter the group stage, it is entirely possible to be in a group with one of the big European clubs where Bulgarian national players play. Such are:

  • Bogdanka LUK Lublin (Poland), with central blockerAlex Grozdanov

  • Cucine Lube Civitanova (Italy), with outside hitter Alex Nikolov

This would mean a true volleyball celebration for the Bulgarian audience and exciting clashes that will attract the attention of all fans in our country.
