Torrential rain and water in the hall postponed Radoslav Arsov's Göztepe match against Fenerbahçe

Torrential rains in Istanbul caused the postponement of the match between Fenerbahçe Medicana and Göztepe Yuppo, led by Bulgarian coach Radoslav Arsov, in the third round of the Turkish Sultans League.
The match was supposed to take place this evening (October 14) at the Burhan Felek Vestel Hall, but heavy rainfall led to water ingress into the facility. The organizers decided that the conditions could endanger the health of the volleyball players and made the decision for the match not to be held.
Göztepe confirmed the postponement, citing precisely the risks to the players. Fenerbahçe also issued an official statement explaining the decision with the unfavorable weather conditions.
The new date for the match will be determined additionally by the Turkish Volleyball Federation.
For Radoslav Arsov's team, this was supposed to be the third match of the season. The team from Izmir is still looking for its first victory, having suffered two defeats in the first two rounds and is in last place in the provisional standings.
The Bulgarian specialist took over Göztepe in the spring, after previously working at Levski Sofia, French Vandoeuvre Nancy, and Russian Lokomotiv (Kaliningrad).
