The Sports Toto will finance the BOC until the Olympic Games in Los Angeles

The Bulgarian Sports Totalizator (BST) will be a main partner of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC) until the end of 2028. The two organizations signed a long-term agreement covering the preparation and participation of Bulgarian athletes in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
The contract was concluded at the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the presence of Minister Encho Keryazov, BOC Chairman Vesela Lecheva, and BST Executive Director Tervel Penkov.
This is the first long-term agreement between the two organizations. It is intended to provide additional financial support for the Olympic movement, with the distributed information not specifying the exact amount of funds or how they will be allocated.
According to Sports Minister Encho Keryazov, the signing of the contract was made possible thanks to the increased revenues of the Bulgarian Sports Totalizator.
"This is the first time a long-term agreement has been signed between the Totalizator and the BOC. This shows a concrete result of our joint work over the past four months," Keryazov stated.

He also linked the new partnership to the commitment made at the beginning of his mandate for better management and control of public funds, expressing hope that the contract would provide greater security for the preparation of the Olympians.
BOC Chairwoman Vesela Lecheva described the cooperation as a natural step, pointing to the practice in a number of countries where national lotteries participate in financing Olympic sports.
"This is a basis for long-term cooperation between the BOC and BST, which will enable us to achieve our long-term goals. I hope it will not only be until Los Angeles, but also for subsequent years," Lecheva commented.

She also thanked the Ministry of Youth and Sports for its assistance regarding the new building of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee.
The agreement is valid until the end of 2028, but the stated intention of both parties is for the cooperation to continue even after the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
