Former volleyball internationals Valentin and Georgi Bratoevi will be among the participants in the second season of the TV reality show "Traitors: Game of Traitors", which starts on October 30 at 8:00 PM on bTV.
The twin brothers will swap the volleyball court for the Euxinograd Palace, where they will have to rely on intuition, strategy, and the ability to judge the people around them. Interestingly, the two may turn out to be not only allies but also opponents in a game where no one knows whom to trust.
Georgi Bratoev, who as a setter is used to anticipating the opponent's actions and making quick decisions, sees his participation as an opportunity to test his strategic abilities and patience.
For Valentin, who played for many years as an outside hitter, the challenge will be different. He wants to find out how he performs in social games, where sports training is not always enough.
"In 'Traitors: Game of Traitors' I'm looking forward to everything! I'm curious to find out how I perform especially in social games," Valentin shared with bTV.
The Bratoev brothers are not the first representatives of Bulgarian volleyball in the show. In 2025, the former captain of the national team, Vladimir Nikolov, participated in the first season and reached the final stage of the competition. He remained loyal to the team of the "faithful" and was eliminated after refusing the offer to become a "traitor".
"I cannot imagine having to lie even for a day to the people who have trusted me," Nikolov explained then.
The second season will again be hosted by actor Vladimir Karamazov. Among the other announced participants are Naum Shopov and Tea Minkova, who will also have to go through the challenge of playing together without knowing if they can trust each other.
The show is a pre-recorded television format, so its broadcast in the autumn does not mean that the Bratoev brothers will be absent from their volleyball commitments after the start of the club season.
